Here is a FABULOUS vintage item from Norway!As stated on the enclosed paper, "Making wafers is a cozy Nordic tradition. In the "good ol" days, wafers were called "broom cakes" in Scandinavian because broomsticks were used to coil the wafers after baking. Wafers are crisp and delicious and are popular in Denmark as tea and coffee snacks. We suggest that you shape your wafers as cones or coil them as rolls and then serve them filled with (for instance) whipped cream, sour cream, ice cream or jam."AWESOME!As you can see, the iron weighs just about 5 lbs, so shipping costs are a little hefty due to weight and size.
